I was enjoying listening to my copy of Chrono Symphonic at work this week, when I started wondering who was doing the vocals for To Far Away Times. Where could a fan project find a volunteer who can sing in both Japanese and English and whose voice was as least as good as professional signers such as Faye Wong? Apparently the ’net is vast and infinite. The singer is one Jillian Goldin (a. k. a. pixietricks), a student at the Peabody Conservatory of Music.
I know there is lots of talk these days about the amateur revolution, but the quality of work made by these networked ProAms continues amazes me.
