The Power of Nightmares

I finished watching The Power of Nightmares. It is a nice documentary produced by the BBC about the rise of Islamic Fundamentalism and Neo-Conservatism.

I like the part where prosecutor of the Detroit sleeper cell said the accused were planning to attack a US military base in Turkey based on drawings found in a day planner. The defence said that they were just doodles. You decide.

In the top right of the right page you can see drawings of AWACS airplanes. The bottom are fighter jets. The squiggle in the bottom left is a bunker.

With evidence like this, no wonder the government wants to keep it out of the hands of the defense.
