Vienna is a pretty awesome city. Its awesomeness includes not having to pass through gates to board the subway, a direct train from the city centre to the airport, and being able to check-in for your flight and baggage up to 24 hours in advance in the city centre. I highly recommend holding conferences in Vienna.
Of course no city is perfect. Everybody smokes, and speech isn’t as free as one would hope.
