Information, Velocity, and Power

If entropy is the lack of knowledge we have about the state of a system, and entropy can never decrease, that means our total knowledge of the world can never increase. If this is the case, how is that I know anything at all? I suspect the answer lies somewhere in the measurement paradox. Or perhaps I am totally wrong about what entropy is.

I’m also disturbed that we are moving at 600 km/s; period. I find this much more disturbing than the weak force not satisfying parity symmetry. Maybe Newton was right about absolute motion.

There is also a suggestion of using a heat engine to extract work from the CMBR dipole. I wonder how much power we could extract while keeping the power station in orbit?
