For some reason my bank lists my ATM withdrawals in the Netherlands with the exchange rate to US dollars. This gives the impression that the money was converted from Canadian dollars to US dollars, and then from US dollars into Euros. That can be good for my exchange rate. But it still might be better than alternatives.
